Operating in Shoal Harbour NL, Pine Things is a company that creates folk art for the broader Clarenville area and the Bonavista Peninsula.
Our goal is to brighten up your home or cabin
with our wide offering of handmade crafts.
You can find our work at:
Cormack Mini Mart in Shoal Harbour, NL and
Pye's Convenience in Lethbridge, NL.
As our name suggests, all of our crafts are made from solid pine. Our patterns are hand-drawn and cut using a variety of tools. Every edge is sanded smooth.
Our painting is done by hand down to the last letter. Some stencils are used, but very rarely and only on specific items.
All of this means that no two items are the same. It's the Pine Things way!

Puffins are unique as can be. People come from all over to see our summer population in the Bonavista area. Now you can take one home!

Brighten up your entryway with one of our welcome signs. We designed these to help combat the dreary spring blues!

Raise your hand if you're a busy bee! We certainly are. Show your summer spirit by sticking one of these sweet little guys in your window.

The dream of Pine Things began in mid 1990's Nova Scotia when we purchased our first scroll saw and set of paint brushes.
After uprooting and moving to Newfoundland, things quieted down for a time, but the dream never died.
Today we spend our time just like those days almost 30 years ago. We've got all new equipment, but that first scroll saw is kept in the workshop as a reminder of where it all began.
